About the event

On July 17, we are gathering,  not just to protest—but to honor a legacy and demand accountability. The Make Good Trouble rally, held on the anniversary of John Lewis’s passing, calls us to “March in Peace. Act in Power.” It’s a living tribute to his charge: to get in good trouble, necessary trouble, in the fight for justice.

We are coupling this event with the 50 Days of Shame campaign, and this moment becomes even more powerful. For 50 days, we’ve exposed the faces and failures of House Republicans who have undermined democracy, spread disinformation, and turned their backs on the people they swore to serve. This campaign has been a drumbeat of truth, state by state, voice by voice.
